Choosing Earrings for Your Face Shape

 

Be comfortable with your earrings; do they make you feel good? Whether or not they formally fit your face, the confidence that comes from wearing a pair of earrings that you love will make you look great!

 

However, there are some considerations you may want to take into account when you’re buying your earrings. Does the color complement your skin tone? Do they work with the clothes you’re wearing? Your body size? Is the weight comfortable? And do they help balance your face?

 

 

Oval Face

This is a classic shape that will work almost with almost any style of earring. However, you might consider avoiding any super-long earrings that will elongate your face.

 

Round Face

Angles, curves, and long lengths to elongate your face will work well. Consider avoiding large circular earrings or hoops that will accentuate roundness.

 

Heart-Shaped Face

Here, a wide forehead and prominent cheekbones end in a delicate chin. For balance, look for earrings that are wider at the bottom – tear drops, chandeliers, triangle shapes that begin with a point. Consider avoiding very short earrings.

 

Square Face

A square face with a strong jaw will always look good with curving, flowing lines. Consider avoiding earrings that are very angular.
